Upon achieving a 2.1 in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Health Science program at the University of the West of England, she went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate of Education, University of Southampton and Secondary Religious Education at Master’s Level. 


These have enabled her perform outstandingly in various areas of teaching and training over the last twenty years culminating to the role as Lead Teaching  Practitioner for Cantell School, Southampton, England.


She is and Advanced Skills Teacher, (AST) and Subject Lead for Religious Studies working in leadership work for the Local Government Educational Authority and local clusters. This role entailed coaching and mentoring teachers, training Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) students, developing and co-ordinating the international dimension of the curriculum, rewriting parts of the Locally Government Agreed Syllabus and working across the city to raise the status of education. 


As a teacher of English as a Foreign Language, Sian has attained outstanding status with training, skills, experience and accomplishment over the last twenty years which has seen her perform roles in four continents around the world. Crucially she has served this capacity in Kibbutz Sarid; Israel,  One World Language Centre; Sardinia, Lily of the Valley Children’s Village; South Africa, GEOS; Japan and Christian Compassions Ministries; Manila, Philippines. 


Outside the teaching profession, Sian also has leadership qualities as demonstrated while acting as Manager for Network Research and Marketing Ltd, Bristol, England. This further highlighting her versatility and pedigree as a coach, mentor and role model for developing teachers in the profession.

Sian is an enthusiastic, passionate and well-qualified teacher with experience of teaching English as a foreign language and a range of subjects to students both in the UK and abroad. 


Teaching and leadership roles within schools have given her a wide-range of transferrable skills and she has consistently been promoted or given extra-responsibility demonstrating her aptitude and skills in different areas. 

Her conscientiousness and commitment to hard-work, experience of working and volunteering abroad demonstrates ability to adapt to a variety of situations and to embrace challenge.
